Over 100 hotels in historic town Veliko Tarnovo and the picturesque Arbanassi were fully booked during the festival “A Scene of the Centuries” which started on 30th of July 2010 at the Tsarevets fortress.



The package prices offered by the hotels include overnights and an entrance ticket for the spectacles. Thus, statistics shows that more than 1000 tickets were sold for the opera Don Carlos. Over 6000 tourists enjoyed the opera Don Carlos which was performed in three consecutive days. Tourists from Russia, Romania, Germany, Spain, France and UK attended the musical festival in the Bulgarian town of Veliko Turnovo.



The festival “A scene of the centuries” is organized by the Veliko Tarnovo municipality and the municipal tourism agency in cooperation with the National opera and ballet and ballet “Arabesque” with the cooperation of the Ministry of culture and Ministry of economy, energetics and tourism. The festival ‘’A scene of centuries will continue until August 8th at the foot of Tsarevets fortress.
The diverse program of Stage of the Ages includes performances of Duality and Bollero, which will take place on August 6th. The famous Carmina Burana will be staged on 7th and 8th of August 2010.
