Comment: Went to Albena for the first time with my girlfriend. We both had a fantastic time and can't wait to go back.

The resort of Albena is beautiful. Very green, clean and safe. The beach is one of the best I've ever seen! There are lots of things to do of a night, plenty of bars, but not too lively. For eating out, i recommend "La Siesta". The food is lovely and so are the waiters. Saying that, most of the Bulgarians are very friendly people. For us Brits, there's the "Tropical Cafe". Like most bars and restaurants, the tropical has a brilliant live band playing every night.

The Hotel Dobrotitsa was a nice hotel. The rooms are clean but only small. The food was ok but not a lot of variety at all. Mainly chicken and chips. This is why I only rated the hotel good. However, it is so cheap to eat out that we done this most nights. The location of the hotel is fantastic. Directly on the beach and close to all the bars and amenities.

All in all, Bulgaria is a lovely country and Albena is a lovely resort. I will definately be revisiting. It beats the usual Spain any day!!
