Comment: The hotel has an excellent location -right on the beach front. We got a specious room on the 5th floor with splendid sea view. The hotel is very good for families with children , as there is a kids club, water slide ,and in the evenings -childrens' disco. Food was O.K.

Comment: We spent our holiday in Kaliakra Palace at the end of July, 2008. We have a small children – ten-months years – therefore we ordered silent, onto a sea spectator, high floor room.
At arriving we get a small room, No 118, on the first floor. It was horrible, small, airless, hot and the bathroom was dirty and stinking. Entrance of kitchen was our under the small balcony, always cars were moving; kitchen staff were smoking and talking. And the lookout was the back court.
We signed all terrible things to the courier and she tried to help us. The manager of hotel offered another room, same floor but farther kitchen. This was same horrible, we did not accept that.
At last next day afternoon we get another room, no 201, on the second floor. What was a different! The room was capacious and clean, with big balcony, opposite the sea. It was silent also, because the restaurant and disco were another end of the building.
But we had to pay extra charge, two euros per adult every day.
We need a baby carriage, but the moving with that was very hard, because thousand stairs led to the seaside.
On the sand can rent bed with parasol.

Comment: I have stayed here and only writing this review because I am amazed how low it scored.
It was a cheap holiday and I do agree the food was appauling but it was very cheap and to eat out was not very expensive.
I can't really complain about the hotel as it was value for money.
The pool was small but you are on the beach.
think some people enjoy moaning on here.
We liked our room as it was large and clean with a big shower room.
We did not even have the sea views.

Comment: We wanted to book Kaliakra last year, but there were no rooms available.
We went this September, and were impressed with the new built pool facilities. There were two outdoor pools for adults and one for children.
Our room on the fifth floor was very large, and with a terrific view of the whole beach.
The Hotel has excellent location, right on the promenade and the beach.

Comment: Stayed at this Hotel for 11 nights in 2006. The food was not fit for animals so was disappointed as we had paid for meals but had to eat out of the Hotel. Totally catered for Germans/Russions who were very very rude people. Travelled with my partner, son, niece and friend. We are a family of mixed race Black English Was made to feel like total aliens. Have travelled a lot and have never been made to feel so uncomfortable. Would not advise anyone of colour to stay at this Hotel. Staff spoke very little English. Would most definitely not go again. Definitely not 4 star rating.

Comment: Had a good overall holiday with my girlfriend. 28 and 32 years old. We had no real complaints with the hotel, nice, comfy, clean but the food really wasnt upto much, we were HB but ate out all the time bar the 1st day. It wasnt much of a hassle as its so cheap but a little annoying when youve already paid for HB. Would use the hotel again but def room only next time. As for golden sands i thought it was just like being in spain. Theres plenty of bars very cheap 2. If you take a walk to the top of the resort youl find all the nightlife, muppets karaoke bar well worth a look. Had top nights in there with some scots and irish.
