Comment: We chose this hotel due to its location and it didn't disappoint in this respect. We had a large appartment room that was very comfortably furnished but had a wall in the middle to provide a break between the sleeping and sitting areas that created a slightly strange affect. Perhaps more importantly though, the air conditioning didn't seem to be working but the room felt cool enough during the night so this didn't cause a problem. The staff were very helpful and spoke good English and the breakfast provided a good choice of the usual things like cereals.

Comment: We drove from Varna to Burgas and took almost an hour to find this hotel since we didn't realize it was on a pedestrian street. Parking was non-existent. The hotel itself is nice. The room was medium sized, clean and comfortable. The shower was a circular tube with sliding doors that didn't close very well and water leaked all over the floor. I think this place would've been great for a business person, but as a tourist, it was good only for its location. It's located on a pedestrian street with stores and restaurants and also a quick 10 minute walk to the beach and seafront park. You could probably find cuter hotels in Burgas, but this hotel was okay.

Comment: Stayed one night on business, well located adjacent to a nice pedestrian street from whihc you can walk to all the main areas of Burgas including the beach. Room was good size and clean with comfortable bed and satellite TV but the air con was not quite effective enough in the July heat; it was OK but the room could have been a few degrees cooler. Breakfast is taken downstairs and was acceptable.

Comment: I spent a lovely weekend at Plaza Hotel Burgas just before Christmas and I was surprised from this small but perfectly organised place just in the heart of the city of Bourgas. The room was clean, breakfast was rich and there was a great variety of meals in the restaurant. The staff was helpful and there was not language problem. The hotel was situated at the pedestrian street that leads you to the Black sea coast. Plenty of shops and food establishments were in this street

Comment: Slap bang in the street that is touted as being the most 'hip' in the city, this hotel has fabulous brochures but is a real dissappointment. The allegedly new hotel had an unheated bathroom with a shower cubicle full of mould and no door on the unit, so it became a wet room. They present you with a remote control on check in which was held together with sellotape for a TV that was tiny with poor reception. The staff do not have a word of English, French or german. So be warned...you MUST know your way around Burgas if you stay here. The food is inedible in the restaurant, breakfast is horrible with off milk, out of date products in the minibar and no facilities at all in the hotel itself except internet if you have dared to bring your laptop. Spend extra and stay in the 4* round the corner (Hotel Bulgaria) if you have to visit this town at all. Why would you though? It is hideous, filthy and has nothing to see unless you include the oil refinery in the port. Watch the taxi prices, you must haggle.
